IFoS

📌 Overview

IFoS uses Civil Services Prelims as screening, then its own Mains (GS + two science optionals + English + language) and interview. Site: upsc.gov.in.

📊 High-weight

• Prelims is the same GS+CSAT paper as IAS. IFoS cut-off is often close to CSE.
• Mains optionals are science / engineering / forestry list subjects (forestry, botany, zoology, geology, agriculture, engineering papers…).
• Forestry optional + environment current affairs are natural overlaps.
